At the Autonomous Ships 2022 conference hosted by the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) on 31 March/01 April in London, the participants debated technology, regulation, and business opportunities of automation in the maritime industry.

Sternula’s CEO, Lars Moltsen, presented a new article on AIS 2.0 (VDES), talking about the need for scalable, secure, global connectivity as an enabler of automated navigation and smart fairways.

The conference took place at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, London – an inspiring location for the topics discussed during the event.
